The successful candidate will develop business relationships for mortgage lending opportunities and guide customers through the mortgage process while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities
Proactively identify, develop and maintain a quality network of business relationships that will serve as a source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities
Participate in business related development opportunities and community efforts to promote home ownership
Interview new and existing customers to determine their financial needs and advise them of appropriate products, terms, and pricing
Navigate the borrower through the process and help gather required information through clear and timely communication
Submit clear accurate loan documentation and maintain industry compliance regulations
Ensure appropriate procedures are followed while meeting sales goals and objectives
Qualification
Required
3+ years of retail residential mortgage origination experience
2+ years of experience as Branch Manager
Must be currently licensed in Florida
Documented residential mortgage loans closed volume in the past 12 months of $500,000 – $1 million+ per month in production
Established relationships with local referral networks
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences
Proficient in product guidelines for Conventional, FHA, and VA loans
Strong technology skills, encompass experience is a plus
Must meet and comply with all requirements for Mortgage Loan Originators set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the required background checks and maintain active NMLS licensure
Ability to recruit, manage and grow your own team
