The Clinical Support Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining informed authorization, conducting medical screenings, managing tissue and organ cases, and providing information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Obtaining informed telephone authorization and conducting comprehensive medical and social history risk assessments with families of patients who authorize donation
Collaborating directly with clinicians to perform medical screenings on patients to determine donation eligibility
Case management of all aspects of tissue cases and shared organ cases, ensuring seamless transitions and effective case completion
Providing accurate, timely information to both internal and external stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Post-secondary training or education in a relevant field is required
Strong case management & communication skills with a commitment to providing compassionate support to donor families
Excellent data entry & computer skills are required
The ability to multitask in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree is preferred, but other healthcare backgrounds will be considered (ICU Tech, ER Tech, LPN, Medical Assistant, etc.)
Experience with one or more electronic medical record systems is preferred
