Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
OSPORTS is a respected engineering firm founded in 1892, focused on providing innovative engineering solutions. They are seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to develop and execute project-specific commissioning plans, perform functional testing of building systems, and manage the commissioning process while ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Supervise staff or self-perform the following: Development and execution of a project specific commissioning plan involving design review, system installation verification, and functional testing
Development of spreadsheet analyses and written reports; perform field assessments and on-site commissioning activities
Functional testing of building systems including MEP and controls systems
Complete USGBC LEED commissioning tasks and credit completion
Building energy and resource use analysis through energy simulation software
Review work products prepared by others as part of Osborn’s QA/QC process
Perform work planning and management of the commissioning process to the available hours in the work plan
Attend meetings with clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and other professionals as projects require
Assist is business development activities by participating in various trade organizations and assisting with presentations
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience in commissioning in the building industry
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and independently execute tasks
Demonstrated leadership skills a plus
Ability to work and manage multiple project teams concurrently
Strong knowledge of MEP/FP building systems design and construction processes
Strong Knowledge of building automation systems
Strong Knowledge of the test and balance process and procedures
Preferred
Experience in Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects a plus
Knowledge of design and energy simulation software a plus
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or eng. technology) preferred
PE preferred
BCxP, CCP, CxA, or CBCP certification preferred
LEED AP with specialty a plus
OSHA 10 a plus
Experience using web-based commissioning management software a plus
