Responsibilities
Gain hands-on experience in analyzing, maintaining, and enhancing an enterprise data warehouse
Develop a reporting platform supporting underwriting, finance, and claims teams
Participate in and contribute to project and operational work under the guidance of experienced IT professionals
Learn about IT processes and how they support the Insurance Life Cycle
Identify projects to leverage programming, project management, or analytics and data skills
Qualification
Required
College concentration in one of the STEM disciplines or prior experience and demonstrated passion in an Information Technology role
A passion for learning with demonstrated technical talent, problem solving skills, and keen attention to detail
Beginner's knowledge of SQL and Python with familiarity of data warehousing and data pipelines
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong focus, attention to detail and accuracy
A basic understanding and interest in learning about the insurance industry
All candidates must have permanent work authorization in the United States
