FloWorks is a company that specializes in process engineering equipment and expert services. They are seeking an Application Engineer who will be responsible for the execution of applications engineering and estimating engineered packages, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.

Responsibilities

Handle unit and simple package orders for select product lines

Updating Principle discount sheets

Quoting, Order Entry Process, etc

Review customer technical information - read specs, PO tech requirements etc

Continue to learn the specifics of air and gas equipment and the applicability of each

Learn specific system requirements / considerations for designs handling compressible gases

Develop project costing for System Packages

Spec out equipment (motors, instrumentation, valves, pipe sch, etc.) not specified by customer

Fill out purchase orders for procurement

Lead/conduct/support negotiations with suppliers to obtain desired results

Obtain submittal information from vendors so PE can develop MEECO submittal packages

Expedite vendors when required
