Research Associate-IVI

Cardiovascular Research Foundation is dedicated to advancing cardiovascular research and is seeking a Clinical Research Associate to join their imaging team. In this role, you will analyze intravascular images, support clinical trials, and collaborate with physicians and researchers to contribute to life-saving interventions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for assigned clinical trials
Set up trial documentation including Case Report Forms and Technician Worksheets using standardized templates
Review and revise protocols and sub-study materials in collaboration with the Medical Director and Assistant Director
Create and maintain tracking databases and spreadsheets
Acquire, log, archive, digitize, and analyze intravascular imaging data including IVUS, VH-IVUS, OCT, NIRS, CT and physiology recordings
Ensure consistency in image readings through ongoing training in imaging modalities
Respond to queries from site coordinators, principal investigators, and sponsors to resolve trial-related issues
Participate in data management and academic activities as needed
Gain hands-on experience in a catheterization laboratory to understand imaging setup and coronary anatomy
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required

B.A. or B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering or Life Sciences
0 - 2 years working experience in a medical, academic or pharmaceutical environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong focus on flexibility, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, good follow-up and judgment
Ability to verbally communicate effectively with staff, physicians, nurses, managers, trial sponsors and colleagues. Ability to communicate effectively when reading and writing e-mail, letters, Manual of Operations, Case Report Forms and other reports or company documents
Ability to analyze information and solve problems relating to intravascular images

Preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology and morphology of the heart
