Responsibilities

Provide supervision of residents at all times in accordance with their integrated individual support plan

Maintain a supportive, therapeutic relationship with each service participant

Be aware of each service participant’s individual service plan, history, medications, current needs and any special accommodations required by the participant

Act as a role model at all times, maintaining appropriate boundaries and demonstrating effective communication skills

Maintain clear and consistent expectations of each service participant while maintaining a safe, supportive environment

Qualification

Fluency in SpanishElectronic Health RecordHuman services experienceCPR/First Aid

Required

High school diploma or equivalent and 12 credit hours from an accredited college/university OR, prior to hire, an approved waiver from CBH is obtained that includes a rationale for hiring without the required credit hours

2 years' experience in human services, paid or unpaid, preferably with adults with psychiatric and/or intellectual disabilities

Fluency in Spanish language required

Able to use an Electronic Health Record

Valid Driver's License required
