Plant Finance Intern
Heartland Food Products Group is seeking a Plant Finance Intern to learn about various functions within the Plants and Distribution Center. The role involves participating in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency while gaining insights into accounting and finance processes.

Responsibilities
Utilizes all food safety and food security guidelines, including Safe Quality Foods (SQF) good manufacturing practices and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points
Assist in coordinating the activities of the employees engaged in manufacturing production support, data extraction, and report creation to help deliver results on our KPIs
Creates training resources by collaborating with subject matter experts and conducting research
Develops and motivates teams to solve their own day-to-day issues and achieve goals through ongoing communication and facilitation of team meetings
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related technical field
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong attention to detail
Very task-oriented
Self-starter
Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
