Responsibilities
Direct and manage the daily operations and projects of the computer operations department
Lead the IT team to efficiently and effectively carry out IT projects and support the company’s users with communication and IT infrastructure and systems
Adhere to the Georgia Seating system policies and procedures and lead others in the same
Comply with all HTGSS Certification standards; Management System (TS16949), Environmental ISO 14001-2015 and Health and Safety ISO 45001-2018 policies and procedures
Treat all HTGSS team members with respect and professional courtesy
Maintain a pro-team member environment
Manage the department budget efficiently as per approved annual budget
Perform special assignments as required by management
Create/modify, test, and deploy C# & ASP.NET applications for primary & secondary systems
Create/modify SQL statements, stored procedures, and other database objects
Configure, test, and maintain servers, workstations, scanners, printers, mobile devices, PLC interfaces, backups, RFID and other specialty software
Utilize Radmin, VNC and other tools to monitor the system
Document system architecture for cross-training and troubleshooting purposes
Function as the subject matter expert in assigned MES Sub Systems and function as an escalation point for MES Technicians
Debug source code and check system logs to determine the root cause for system issues
Create System Incident Reports when system outages impact production
Create approval documents for system changes and purchase decisions
Conduct feasibility studies and proof of concepts for new technology and systems
Thoroughly test all system changes and function as a peer reviewer for other Systems Analysts
Install hardware and software on the production floor and Data Center
Participate in production meetings, project meetings, and other important team meetings
Provide frequent reports on development projects and escalate as needed
Generate ideas to improve the stability, functionality, and management of the MES System
Collaborate with Network, Security, Storage, Database, and SAP/ERP Administrators, Production Engineers, PLC & Robot Engineers, and HQ Representatives to provide production support
Check the production system every cycle (PPC, Zabra Print, PDA, RFID)
Participate in technical meetings about other branches and may require business trips
Be able to work on weekends or at night if needed
Assist in any special project assigned to all Departments
Promote a positive workplace
Communicate with all department members to solve issues
Ability to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions
Report to the manager weekly
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Windows/Linux server and domain services (including backup/duplication/AD)
Cisco networking systems and services
Technical Security (Firewall/EDR/SASE/DLP/SAC/DAC/NAC/Production security/MFA etc)
Strong proficiency with ERP(SAP)/MES
Strong proficiency with LAN, WAN, VPN, IPSEC Networking skills
