Responsibilities
Serve as a specialist on the layout and routing of electrical components per assembly
Ensure individual tasks are executed in the most effective manner in regard to time, cost and function
Ensure assigned tooling is completed based on work requirements utilizing drawings, customer specifications and manuals as necessary
Identify/Diagnose electrical problems, and recommend adjustments/repair work as necessary
Mark up engineering drawings as needed to indicate change. Report/document said changes to the necessary departments (direct supervisor/engineering/etc.)
Provide accurate time reporting for assigned activities through the ERP system
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety, quality of work, and attendance
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Electrician Journeyman Card or 8+ years electrical experience in a machine tool shop
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and successfully layout equipment according to prints
Team player, able to take direction and be self-directed
High regard for safety standards
Knowledge of welding and automated welding systems
Knowledge of Electrical Standards, tooling assembly & setup
Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Experience with programming or troubleshooting PLC code a plus, but not required
