Responsibilities

Provides relationship management and administration of complex and high net worth clients investment, fiduciary, and other assigned accounts including regular proactive client communication, sophisticated advice to clients and advisors, and includes daily account administration, in coordination with Private Wealth administrative support team
Works closely with the department team members to provide expertise, as needed and as assigned, to help service our clientele within our entire department, including financial planning, estate planning, regulatory and/or compliance related items
Participants in special projects or internal committees, as needed and as assigned
Develops new and expanded personal trust and other private client relationships
Develops and maintains professional relationships with referral network of trust and estate attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors
Conducts joint calling with other Private Wealth Advisors, Private Banking Officers, BTC Capital Management Officers, and other Bank staff as required for discharge of responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Four year college degree in finance or related field required
A minimum of eight years of experience performing sophisticated investment management, tax, financial, and estate planning for high net worth individuals and families in the personal trust, family office or similar environment
Four year college degree in finance or related field required
A minimum of ten years of experience performing sophisticated investment management, tax, financial, and estate planning for high net worth individuals and families in the personal trust, family office or similar environment
Extensive knowledge of investment management and tax, estate planning concepts/techniques, and trust administration
Thorough knowledge of fiduciary management policies and principles
Strong knowledge of investment concepts

Preferred

JD or advanced degree in finance preferred
CFP, CTFA and equivalent fiduciary investment credentials are highly desirable
Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
JD or advanced degree in finance strongly preferred
CFP, CTFA, or equivalent fiduciary investment credentials are strongly preferred
Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
