Document Controls Specialist (Security Clearance)
STI Federal is a government contracting company dedicated to supporting the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. They are seeking a Document Controls Specialist to provide document processing support services for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ensuring accurate preparation, scanning, and indexing of classified documents.

Responsibilities
Process and Scan Secure Documents – Receive, prepare, recompile, and scan Safeguards Information and Classified materials in compliance with established SOPs
Ensure High-Volume and Accurate Output – Create up to 3,000 scanned images and index at least 100 documents per day, applying 100% quality control checks to all images
Maintain System Readiness and Performance – Conduct routine maintenance on scanning hardware/software and coordinate with technical staff to ensure seamless application functionality
Contribute to Team Productivity – Provide additional document processing support across functions when daily production requirements are met
Track and Report Workload Metrics – Maintain accurate records of daily and monthly processing statistics for inclusion in status and progress reports
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in document controls, records management, or related administrative/technical role
Active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) Q Clearance
Preferred
Associate's degree or higher in information management, records management, or a related field
Prior experience supporting classified or safeguarded records/documentation
Active DOE Q Clearance
