InternArmy Navy Country Club is a prestigious private member-owned Platinum Country Club located in Northern Virginia. They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Intern to join their team for a seasonal internship, offering hands-on experience in food and beverage operations.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Team to ensure the delivery of 5-Star service to our esteemed members and their guests
Coordinate with Food and Beverage Team, assisting in maintaining a high standard of service quality
Engage in front-of-house (FOH) food and beverage operations, taking an active role in daily activities such as serving tables, hosting, food-running and other line-level positions
Provide insight and work with other interns throughout the designing, planning and execution of the Intern Event and Summer Employee Party
Rotate through ANCC’s 6 extraordinary dining outlets and banquet spaces
Acquire proficiency in banquet decor and table setting, showcasing your expertise across a variety of event styles
Interns will spend part of the program participating in ANCC’s 5 Star Employee Recognition Program, where they will meet to collect nominations, make/send invitations, and help plan the celebration events
Engage in bi-weekly mentorship meetings. This will be with a manager that is suited to you based on compatibility and your career goals
Qualification
Required
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
Excellent organizational skills and a problem-solving mindset
Willingness to be hands-on and learn various aspects of food and beverage operations
Availability to work at both our Arlington and Fairfax, Virginia location
Ability to work during varied hours of the day as well as weekends and holidays
Preferred
Enrollment in a hospitality or culinary program
