Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and the development team to gather and document detailed business requirements
Analysis and Documentation: Analyze business processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. Document requirements, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications
Translate Business Needs: Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications for the development team
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the development team. Facilitate communication to ensure project status, requirements, and changes are effectively conveyed
Quality Assurance Support: Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) testers to ensure developed software meets specified requirements and quality standards
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and conduct UAT with clients to validate software meets their expectations and requirements
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Provide recommendations for process improvements and innovative solutions
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Business Analyst with an ERP software package
Experience with scrap industry ERP systems (CRES, RIMAS, ScrapDragon, etc.) is a definitive plus
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail
Knowledge of database concepts and SQL is a plus
For the next 20 months there will be approximately 25% travel, with as much as 50%, monthly for implementation and training
