Sierra Circuits is a company specializing in printed circuit board manufacturing. They are seeking a Production Control Specialist to oversee production processes, ensuring timely shipments and resolving any production-related issues.

Responsibilities

Oversee assigned production processes during scheduled shifts to ensure jobs are moved according to schedule

Promptly identify, communicate, report, and resolve any problems that could affect the quality and on-time delivery of PCB orders to Management, Process Engineers, and appropriate department heads

Communicate production status and highlight priorities with Production Managers from other shifts to ensure continuous synchronization of production efforts

Provide daily updates of shift notes to appropriate Managers (next shift supervisor, VP of Operations, etc.) before leaving for the day

Promptly report any equipment malfunction to the maintenance department and follow up to ensure resolution

Work with managers to provide training to all shift personnel and properly document the training in the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)

Be available to operators for any technical issues

Prevent scraps when possible

Ability to stand/walk throughout the day

Be available for after-hours emergency calls and Saturday rotation schedules

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

2-5 years experience in the PCB industry

Must have a clear, thorough and up-to-date understanding of PCB designs, materials, and new technologies and of processes required to manufacture high-tech PCB

Ability to read and understand work instructions

Ability to follow procedures and maintain quality of products at all times

Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong people management skills

Ability to effectively communicate and resolve issues related to the production process

Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook

Ability to learn new skills/tasks and grasp new concepts as required

Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment

Must be flexible to work extended hours based on company needs
