Havtech Solutions is the Mid-Atlantic’s largest and most experienced commercial HVAC equipment, building automation, service, and energy solutions provider. They are looking for Summer Interns who are Electrical Engineering majors to learn about building automation systems and assist with installations, programming, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Learning our systems and products from a network of qualified Havtech Solutions Controls Technicians
On-site training applying knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital control systems by assisting the Controls Team with installations, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of building automation systems
Exposure to multiple languages of systems software used in technical projects

Required

Bachelor's degree currently in progress in Electrical Engineering, Construction, or other related areas
Interest in the HVAC industry and a potential HVAC-related career track
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Web-enabled applications
Ready to learn and volunteer to assist others
Demonstrate collaborative and respectful behavior in a team environment
Excellent math aptitude
Possess time management skills and the ability to follow up

Preferred

Junior and senior level students are strongly preferred, but class level is not required
