Responsibilities
Support design and process improvements across engineering, manufacturing, and installation teams
Create 2D/3D drawings and parametric models to support project delivery
Analyze specifications to ensure compliance with performance standards (thermal, acoustic, etc.)
Analyze and design curtainwall systems and components for code compliance and safety
Develop structural calculations, including FEA models and load analysis
Perform site inspections and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Work with Technical Project Manager and Engineers to create submittal details, plans, and elevations
Create layout and tag drawings for installation
Create fabrication drawings and models
Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and material estimates
Read and interpret architectural, structural, and project specifications
Provide support to factory and field personnel as needed
Follow best practice drafting and modeling standards
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in or completion of a Mechanical, Structural, CAD Design, or related Engineering/Technical degree program
0–2 years of experience in engineering, drafting, or related work
Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (Inventor/SolidWorks) required
Strong problem-solving, spatial, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
