RedGuard is a company that builds modular solutions to protect lives and assets. They are seeking a Drafting Intern to assist in creating models for projects and support coordination among various disciplines in construction and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Assists in creating various models for assigned projects

Supports with coordination and compilation of multiple disciplines pertaining to construction/manufacturing

Aids in the review of project models for clash and workability

Develops skills and knowledge of various machines, engineering and construction practices to aid in generating complete and accurate production/shop/permit ready detail drawings

Completes primary work utilizing AutoCad, Revit, and Inventor

Supports the team by capturing and gathering field changes from the production/fabrication team to create as-built drawings according to RedGuard’s Document Control requirements

Learns the skillset needed to help answer questions or provide directions to complete various project related tasks

Conducts walkthroughs of the fabrication and production floor to visually verify that methods align with the approved design and to coordinate any as-built changes to the project
