The intern will assist tax professionals in preparing and reviewing tax returns, researching tax laws, and communicating with clients, providing hands-on experience in tax preparation and compliance.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with federal and state tax requirements
Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information and answer tax-related questions
Assist in the preparation of tax planning and consulting projects
Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax projects
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax laws
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Previous internship or work experience in tax or accounting
CPA candidate or eligibility
Experience with tax preparation software such as UltraTax
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
