InternBerman Hopkins CPAs & Associates, LLP is seeking an Audit Intern. The Audit Intern performs and completes procedures on audit programs and prepares work papers to support tasks performed.
Accounting
Responsibilities
Compares data contained in a variety of financial records in order to detect trends, errors, anomalies or problems
Makes recommendations for improving internal controls
Completes required schedules, account analyses, worksheets, and projects
Prepares and presents written and oral reports
Performs other accounting and auditing duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by supervisor
Maintains the confidentiality of the firm and its clients
Qualification
Required
Working towards obtaining or has recently obtained a Bachelor's degree in accounting
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented
Strong analytical ability and judgement
Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment
