The role involves performing air flow tests, developing testing procedures, and maintaining testing equipment while collaborating with combustion engineers.

Responsibilities
Perform air flow tests on Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) components
Support following hardware in the shop and at vendors facilities
Develop procedures for flow testing of industrial gas turbine components
Assist in fixture design for flow testing
Maintain flow testing equipment to ensure validity of test results
Set up data acquisition systems to collect test data
Create Technical Documentation: O&M manuals, installation instructions, WI
ECNs processing and drawing incorporation using TeamCenter
Rig testing / commissioning support
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM's EHS Training Matrix
General mechanical aptitude and ability to perform hands-on work
Understanding of basic fluid dynamics
Understanding of air flow measurement systems and techniques
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a professional, friendly, team environment
Reliable and able to commit a schedule
Field work and travel may be required (up to 30%)
Preferred
Higher level education in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
