Responsibilities
Root cause analysis of production issues related to CNC Machining and coordinating countermeasure activity
Develop and execute plans for tooling improvements to reduce cost and / or improve quality
Root cause analysis into customer quality concerns and implementing corrective countermeasures
Draft and maintain documentation required to control production of a product
Investigation into new methods and technology to improve efficiency and reduce operating cost
New equipment project management, including specification development, installation and training
Qualification
Required
Experience in CNC Machining and Automation
Ability to read and edit CNC programs
Ability to understand mechanical drawings
Ability to work with the metric measurement system down to the micron level
Ability to successfully manage several tasks or projects at once
Experience with Solidworks and / or AutoCAD LT
Strong MS Office Skills; Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Project and TEAMS
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving ability
B.S. from a four-year college or university in an Engineering field or four to six years experience in a related field
