Responsibilities

Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support

Design, code, and maintain both front-end and back-end components for web-based and batch processing applications using Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular or React

Collaborate with team members and project stakeholders to troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application features

Conduct unit testing, debugging, and participate in peer code reviews

Prepare and maintain technical documentation and user manuals as required for federal compliance

Work within Agile teams and participate in daily standups and sprint planning

Ensure security and compliance standards are implemented and maintained

Respond to change management requests and support deployment to development, staging, and production environments

Required

Strong proficiency in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Experience with Angular or React frameworks

Knowledge of front-end development principles and responsive design

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing is an advantage

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Analytical mindset and attention to detail

Ability to work in fast-paced, secure federal environments

Active Public Trust (or ability to obtain)

Preferred

Experience with Spring Boot or RESTful API development

Exposure to automated deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins) and version control (e.g., Git)

Experience delivering solutions in Agile environments

Familiarity with federal compliance, cybersecurity, or government application standards

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
