Responsibilities

Conduct supplier evaluations and capability assessments, including process reviews, certifications, and compliance with aerospace standards

Support supplier onboarding by reviewing documentation, verifying certifications, and coordinating First Article Inspections (FAI)

Oversee supplier development projects from initiation to production readiness

Act as the primary liaison between new suppliers and internal stakeholders including Engineering, Quality, and Procurement

Monitor project milestones, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with program objectives

Monitor supplier readiness and ramp-up activities to ensure program schedules are met

Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve supplier technical and process issues

Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconformances or performance gaps

Track and report supplier performance metrics (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness)

Support supplier development projects, including process improvements, quality initiatives, and cost reduction activities

Visit supplier facilities as needed to conduct audits, verify corrective actions, and provide technical support

Collaborate in sourcing decisions by providing input on supplier capability and risk

Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities to ensure suppliers are prepared for production

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field and 2-5 years of supplier development, supply chain, or procurement experience

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, NADCAP)

Proven experience managing supplier projects and cross-functional teams

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
