Responsibilities

This position includes leading and delivering municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities planning and design projects
Task responsibilities will include project management, preparation of assessment and design reports, performing design calculations, equipment sizing/selection, preparation of construction documents, and support of construction management/commissioning needs
Field work and site visits from planning through construction and commissioning will be required
This position requires experience with project management or the desire to grow into a project management role
The position will lead to an increasing level of client development and management commensurate with experience, supported by our local office and firm-wide technical resources

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, design, and construction for water, wastewater and/or stormwater facilities
Proficient in all computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Current PE license and the ability to obtain a P.E. license in Florida within six months of employment (if current PE license is from another state)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
Proficient in English
Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
Self-starter with attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Minimum educational requirements are a B.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering

Preferred

Experience in AutoCAD and ArcGIS
Experience in project management
MS degree in Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
