Responsibilities

Machine parts to specifications using documentation presented on routing/drawings and program hardcopy
Employ use of inspection methods to ensure the quality of production
Ability to perform entry-level problem-solving skills
Ability to run one or more machine types
Maintains housekeeping and safety standards in work area

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to load and run machine
Strong team player and flexible to move from one task to another
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
Read, write clearly, and follow written procedures
Ability to read and understand basic blueprints
Knowledge and ability to utilize standard measuring equipment
Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently and exercise judgment

Preferred

0 – 2 years' experience preferred working in a manufacturing environment
