Responsibilities
Represent clients with the utmost level of professionalism and ethics
Assists Associate teams with the preparation of existing client Statements of Work (SOWs) with oversight and approval from Sr. Associate
Builds respectful and strong relationships with clients and taxing authorities by clearly communicating ideas and actions
Responsible for managing own 80% utilization and direct client files A/R status
Reviews file status and progression of files with Associate
Compiles information from clients to produce acceptable proposals to the taxing authorities
Drafts, transcribes and sends professional correspondence
Reviews, guides, and helps clients with questions, forms, processes, and general information
Maintains organization of electronic copies of client files, documents, and notes in Salesforce
Additional Ad Hoc duties
Qualification
Required
Must have your Enrolled Agent's license to qualify for this role
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred)
Must possess an Enrolled Agent (EA) license in good standing to practice before the IRS
Has a comprehensive understanding of the IRS processes and procedures and the capacity to build arguments using IRS policy, procedures, and code
Consistently attends additional training to maintain job knowledge and utilizes resources to increase self-development
Demonstrates ability to negotiate on behalf of clients in front of the IRS and state taxing authority agents
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce
Maintains a high level of organization and attention to detail
Dependable performer that demonstrates coachability and adaptability, which includes good planning and prioritizing skills
Takes strong initiative and maintains a strong work ethic
