Embroidery Technician
Cigarette Racing is a renowned manufacturer of high-quality powerboats known for their craftsmanship and luxury. They are seeking a dependable Embroidery Technician to join their production support team, responsible for transforming design concepts into precision-cut and expertly stitched upholstery for their boats.

Responsibilities
Operate CNC cutting machines to produce accurate PVC for cushions and cabinets, and signage projects
Perform stitching and sewing operations using industrial sewing machines to assemble, repair, or finish upholstery components with precision
Read and interpret digital design files, templates, and blueprints to ensure accurate cuts, alignments, and finishes
Assist in layout and application on boats, ensuring seamless fit, alignment, and visual consistency with brand standards
Maintain and troubleshoot CNC and stitching equipment, ensuring consistent accuracy and performance
Keep a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace, following all company PPE and housekeeping requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, product quality, and craftsmanship standards
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in upholstery, CNC cutting, and industrial stitching/sewing (Sunstar equipment)
Proficiency with CNC software and digital design interfaces (Graphtec Studio, AutoCAD, Illustrator, or equivalent)
Strong skills in vinyl cutting, sign-making, and material layout
Knowledge of upholstery construction, materials, and marine-specific techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sewing patterns, and digital templates
High attention to detail and commitment to precision craftsmanship
Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift and move heavy furniture pieces and upholstery materials up to 50 pounds
Must have the ability to use hand tools, sewing machines, and other equipment with precision and skill
Ability to stand, kneel, or bend for extended periods while working on furniture
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks, such as sewing and lifting, over the course of an entire workday
Ability to maintain balance when working with large or heavy items that may require maneuvering on uneven surfaces
Must have the ability to distinguish colors and patterns, as well as read blueprints, patterns, and fabric labels
