This role focuses on teaching and mentoring graduate students, conducting independent research, and contributing to the university's mission within the School of Education.

Required

A Ph.D. degree in Educational Research, Educational Psychology, or closely related field (by August 2026) for assistant rank

Evidence of scholarly potential for assistant rank

A Ph.D. degree in Education Research, Educational Psychology, or closely related field AND 5 years of experience in a tenure track position or equivalent for associate rank

Evidence of research success reflected in scholarship and funding history for associate rank

Experience setting clear performance expectations and provision of meaningful feedback in higher education

Experience and/or familiarity with technology use, particularly in the online learning environment in higher education

Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate, concise and quality communication (verbal and written) in a timely manner to everyone

Preferred

Experience teaching graduate educational and interdisciplinary research and/or statistics courses for assistant rank

Preparation to teach measurement; advanced quantitative courses that may include data analytics, data science, machine learning; survey and mixed methods research; or other quantitative areas for assistant rank

Experience mentoring student research for assistant rank

Promotion in rank as higher education faculty for associate rank

University leadership experience for associate rank

External funding success for associate rank
