New Grad, Entry LevelAugusta University is seeking a full-time Lecturer in Media Arts to begin in August 2026. The role involves teaching courses in digital tools and post-production within the BFA in Digital and Visual Storytelling curriculum, as well as contributing to departmental service through community engagement.

Responsibilities
Teach courses such as post-production within our BFA in Digital and Visual Storytelling curriculum
Teach a survey course in digital tools (covering software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
Contribute to departmental, college, and university service through committees and community engagement
Qualification
Required
MFA in Film Production or Digital Media Production or equivalent degree in appropriate discipline or its equivalent in training, ability, or experience
Consistent with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC)'s requirements for institutional accreditation
Evidence of ability as a teacher
Evidence of activity as a scholar and ability in all other duties assigned
Successful experience (which will necessarily be waived for those just entering the academic profession who meet all other requirements)
Desirable personal qualities judged on the basis of personal interview, complete biographical data, and recommendations
