Responsibilities

To conduct AHERA inspections in schools throughout the five Boroughs
Prepare Management Plan Reports
Work in Teams of Two - 1 NYCDEP Investigator & 1 NYSDOL Inspector
Work from 3pm to12 midnight Monday through Friday

Required

An Associate degree in Engineering or Science
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 5 years experience performing AHERA inspections and preparation of AHERA Management Plans
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess a valid NYC DEP Asbestos Investigation Certificate and a NYSDOL Inspector & Management Plan Certificates
Proficient in reading and sketching drawings
Skilled in using software like Microsoft office and be familiar with other applications relevant to AHERA Management Plan Reports
Detail Oriented
Valid Driver's License
Legible handwriting
Ability to lift 50 lbs
