Vital Design is seeking a Senior Magento Developer to join their team. In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining and building Magento-based eCommerce websites, focusing on developing and optimizing solutions for high performance and exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead Magento Development: Design, develop, and optimize Magento-based eCommerce solutions, including custom module development, theme creation, and integration of third-party extensions
Architect Solutions: Work with project managers and the client to determine requirements and author technical specifications based on those requirements
Enhance Performance: Implement performance tuning techniques, including caching strategies, database optimization, and code refactoring to ensure high-performing Magento applications
Collaborate Closely: Work with project managers and designers to ensure that each project achieves its full potential

Required

Have extensive experience with Magento 2, including Object–oriented php development, custom module creation, and theme customization
Familiarity with Magento tools and technologies, such as Composer, Magento CLI, and deployment processes
Proficient in Git Version Control
Experience integrating various payment gateways and APIs within Magento
Understand eCommerce best practices, including UX/UI design, conversion optimization, and analytics
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
Not afraid to work hard, ask questions, and embrace new technologies and methodologies

Preferred

A solid understanding of SEO principles and their application in Magento
Experience working with SOAP and/or REST APIs
