Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and organize custom Autodesk Inventor parts and assemblies within Vault for fabrication teams
Lead development of Inventor & Vault processes with automation (iLogic, PowerShell, CoolOrange, etc.), including the creation of parametric parts and assemblies
Maintain standard processes for Inventor & Vault with internal/external design partners and other Dant Clayton stakeholders (manufacturing department)
Implement Autodesk Inventor & Vault as a part of the standard design & manufacturing processes to streamline information transfer from design to manufacturing
Integrate design data into the company ERP (INFOR CloudSuite SiteLine) for reporting
Attend and participate in cross-functional team meetings; collaborate on vision and execution of company initiatives to improve design processes
Develop comprehensive knowledge of Dant Clayton products, identify opportunities for improvement (value engineering), and make constructive suggestions for change
Communicate processes, automation, and logic to downstream designers to ensure clear understanding of design and drafting processes

Required

Associate's degree or higher with an educational background in manufacturing, construction, architecture, or engineering
Proven experience in design automation and workflows for manufacturing parametric assemblies and parts
General understanding of manufacturing/design practices and principles; familiarity with structural framing requirements
Demonstrated ability to manage/coordinate software implementation (Inventor or similar) for design and manufacturing processes
Self-starter who is focused, articulate, well-organized, and detail-oriented
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and CAD; familiarity with other 3D software, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office products
Passion for technological advancement and personal growth

Preferred

Certificate in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (preferred) and/or relevant experience
