Vice President Of Operations

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day leadership, support and management to the operations of the organization that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company. Bottom line: Build a great company
Serves as the leader, communicator and coordinator of multi-department projects with expertise in business specification documents, return on investment, automation, efficiency with consideration for impact on other established processes and client needs
With coordination of others, builds the operational plan for future operations to support the objectives of the organization particularly with regard to compliance, automation and growth
Provides direct oversight of operations department responsibilities including: account status updates, status reporting to clients, account reconciliations, account assignment and re-assignment to vendors, account recall from vendors account closure processes, in addition to oversight of all media and affidavit processes
Manages reporting schedules to make sure all scheduled client reports are delivered on time
Re-engineer processes for continuous improvement and scalability
Report KPI to management monthly
Manage operations bonus process
Attends weekly/monthly/quarterly client calls to report the status of operational issues (inventory, media, affidavits, etc.)
Communicates with clients regarding problems, needs and solutions as they relate to specific areas of operation responsibility (inventory, media, affidavits, closures, etc.)
Creates platform for gainful improvement in operational delivery to clients, establishing baselines and setting up the proper reporting mechanisms for tracking of results
Attend industry conferences and client meetings as needed
Is in touch with client needs and industry directions so as to anticipate future needs and design processes that support both current and future needs
Works with Project manager to help prioritize projects based on organizational needs, client needs and return on investment. Balances short term and long-term priorities and well as internal and external (client) demands
Develops business specifications and cost/benefit for projects both independently for own projects and facilitates the accomplishment of the same for projects managed by others
Works with Implementation on client transition from onboarding to production
Coordinates closely with other department leaders to understand needs and priorities and builds the long-term operational plan

Required

Five or more years of operational experience
Demonstrated experience in operations and analysis with previous experience overseeing information technology and litigation
Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning
Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission
Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred
Ten or more years debt collection, debt litigation experience preferred
Industry knowledge and strong industry relationships
