Nuclear Project Manager II
Zachry Group is a leading engineering firm, and they are seeking a Nuclear Project Manager II to oversee and manage assigned projects while fostering strong relationships with clients. The role involves identifying client needs, coordinating project proposals, and addressing any issues related to project scope, quality, cost, or schedule.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain close working relationships with client to include professional and social interaction with key home office and site individuals
Identify client needs and expectations, including upcoming major projects and communicate those needs to the applicable individuals
Obtain client feedback regarding work performance and facilitate implementation of process improvements, as appropriate
Work with client to address and resolve issues that may develop relative to project scope changes, quality of services, cost, or schedule
Coordinate and participate in the preparation of proposals for client work by working with Discipline Engineering Managers and Account Managers to develop project scope, approach, technical assumptions, staffing, schedule, and pricing
Qualification
Required
BS in engineering or other technical specialty from an accredited university with course work in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or similar technical scope is required
10 years (minimum) of experience with design engineering, project management and client relations is required
Experience with operating plant procedures, processes, budget analysis, and budget forecasting is required
Ability to manage, motivate and organize team members, communicating and providing technical direction and task assignments is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills are required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel and Power Point is required with competency in software applications for email and databases
Effective time management skills are required as position may involve working on several projects concurrently
Knowledge of and experience in project scheduling techniques is required
Ability to understand and comply with company policies, procedures, processes as well as those financial obligations that would apply to projects is required
Ability to pass security and drug screening and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access is required
Overtime work is required
Travel is required to client sites
Ability to perform walk downs of equipment in an industrial plant environment, to include climbing ladders, accessing security-controlled areas, and entering confined spaces and controlled hazardous areas is required
Preferred
MS in engineering or other technical specialty from an accredited university with course work in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or similar technical scope is desired
Professional Engineering registration (EIT or PE), and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification are highly preferred
