Key Account Manager/Business Development

Upside Innovations, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to contribute to the continued success of the company. The role involves managing key accounts, developing relationships, and growing business opportunities within existing accounts, with extensive travel required.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives, directors, and onsite/location managers to drive sales at multiple levels within key accounts
Visit key accounts on a quarterly basis to develop relations, understand customer needs, and identify opportunities for growth
Communicate customer needs, feedback and potential new business development projects to the internal team
Act as the customer advocate within the organization, ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded
Work closely with the sales team to communicate customer needs without quoting responsibility
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and goals
Monitor and analyze account performance metrics and prepare reports
Prepare and deliver presentations on account activity, products and services
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to meet/exceed annual growth targets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry develops to identify potential opportunities and threats

Required

Highly motivated and experienced in Key Account Management
Ability to manage key accounts and develop relationships
Experience in growing business opportunities within existing accounts
Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 75% of the time
Ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives, directors, and onsite/location managers
Experience in driving sales at multiple levels within key accounts
Ability to visit key accounts on a quarterly basis
Strong communication skills to convey customer needs and feedback
Ability to act as the customer advocate within the organization
Experience working closely with sales teams
Ability to develop and implement strategic account plans
Experience in monitoring and analyzing account performance metrics
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations on account activity, products, and services
Experience in identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments
