Responsibilities

Develop software for our OMNI Returns Backend Systems
Design and implement pipelines to process real time delivery data against our Walmart Global Tech Guidelines
Collaborate with cross team and cross functional stakeholders

Qualification

Required

Over 5 years of experience in designing and developing large-scale, distributed systems
Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
Strong background in building scalable applications using Microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Azure Cosmos, MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, etc.)
Expertise in internet-scale distributed technologies (e.g., ElasticSearch, Solr, MemCache, and similar tools)
Experience working with distributed event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, etc.)
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area
Option 2: 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area

Preferred

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area
Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly
Knowledge of accessibility best practices and Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture
