Responsibilities

Promote the company and technologies of our client
Growth in top-line sales and gross profit
Establish our client as a key/top vendor partner with their distributors
Advance our client’s distributor model
Develop and achieve yearly sales and booking goals with distributor partners that align with business objectives
Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
Identify growth obstacles and solutions to overcome
Conduct quarterly sales and booking reviews with distributor partners
Provide on-going training to our client’s distributor partners
Joint field sales Calls with distributor partners
Service and support to distributors and customers
Gather marketing information regarding customers, competitors, and pricing
Use sound judgement, listening, and problem-solving skills
Exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude
Provide on-going training to our client’s distributor partners:
Product Training
Sales Training
Follow-Up Processes
Prospecting
Time and Territory Management
Market and Applications
Solution Selling
Bundling
Systems
Out of state distributor joint field sales calls:
End User Focus

Aim for 4-6 Calls per Day

Required

Must reside near Grand Rapids Michigan
50%-75% travel expectation
Experience in sales management
Ability to develop and manage distributor partners
Strong understanding of market trends and growth opportunities
Excellent coaching and performance monitoring skills
Ability to conduct sales and booking reviews
Strong problem-solving skills
Positive and friendly attitude
Experience in providing training to distributor partners
Ability to conduct joint field sales calls
Experience in analyzing marketing information regarding customers, competitors, and pricing
