Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of electrical circuits, systems, and products using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
Support the development of schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical design requirements are met
Perform basic electrical calculations and analysis to ensure design integrity and compliance with specifications
Assist in the testing and validation of prototypes and final products
Help troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the design and testing phases
Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports
Assist in the creation of technical presentations and project status updates
Work with senior engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones
Participate in the selection and evaluation of electrical components and systems
Provide support during the manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure product quality and performance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, signal processing, and power distribution
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Candidate must be able to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license within five (5) years of hire

Preferred

Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., IEEE, NEC)
Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB)
Basic knowledge of embedded systems or control systems
Understanding of PCB design and fabrication processes
Internship or co-op experience in an electrical engineering role is a plus, but not required
