Associate or Full Professor of Political Science and International Affairs
The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs and Department of Political Science is inviting applications for a full-time, tenured faculty position in security studies. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in research, teaching, and policy engagement, and will be responsible for teaching courses for undergraduate and graduate students in the relevant departments.

Qualification
Required
A Ph.D. in political science or closely related field (such as government, politics, public policy, or international relations) with a primary focus on security
Strong publication record
Active research agenda
Substantial teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Track record of external funding
Demonstrated record of engagement with the broader academic and policy communities
