Responsibilities
Performs primary role, fluoroscopy, and acquisition (cine), during procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment
Performs secondary role (scrub assistant, monitoring) during procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory in accordance with physician orders
Act as preceptor for Angiography Technologist I orientees
Qualification
Required
Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program
One-year previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization required
Demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Cath Lab x-ray table and equipment
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Cath Lab product inventory
Current applicable state licensure for Radiological Technologist (LRT) required
Current national registration in Radiography (ARRT-R) required
BLS and ACLS required
