Special Procedure Technologist - Interventional Radiology (IR) - Up to $15,000 Bonus
Oklahoma State University Medical Center is seeking a Special Procedure Technologist in Interventional Radiology. The role involves operating radiographic and interventional radiology equipment, producing high-quality radiographs, and assisting with invasive and non-invasive procedures under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator.

Responsibilities
Operate all routine radiographic and interventional radiology equipment in a safe and proficient manner
Produce high-quality radiographs and assist the radiologist with all different types of invasive and non-invasive procedures daily
Assist as a scrub tech during invasive procedures
Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and hospital personnel
Participate in performance improvement initiatives
Assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day-to-day operation of the department
24-hour mandatory On-Call, requiring a return time of 30 minutes or less to the hospital
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
Registered, or be registry eligible, with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
ARRT certification, if not held at the time of hire, is required within 1 year from the date of hire
Ability to operate all routine radiographic and interventional radiology equipment in a safe and proficient manner
Ability to produce high-quality radiographs
Ability to assist the radiologist with all different types of invasive and non-invasive procedures daily
Ability to assist as a scrub tech during invasive procedures
Ability to communicate with physicians, patients, families, and hospital personnel
Participation in performance improvement initiatives
Ability to assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day-to-day operation of the department
24-hour mandatory On-Call availability with a return time of 30 minutes or less to the hospital
