Responsibilities

Collect patient information and provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse

Participate in performing direct and indirect nursing care for patients

Collaborate with the RN during patient assessment to develop the nursing diagnosis(s), the patient plan of care and for the evaluation of nursing interventions

Qualification

CNA certificationBLS certificationNursing program enrollmentTeamworkCommunication skills

Required

Currently enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor's degree nursing program with completion of at least two semesters in ADN program or four semesters in BSN program for clinical nursing curriculum

Must have, or have had: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin, or Licensed Practical Nurse License awarded by the State of Wisconsin

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) before current year internship
