EHS Intern - Toledo, OH (Summer 2026)

The EHS Intern will participate in hazard assessments, incident investigations, and assist in creating safety procedures, while gaining hands-on experience in environmental health and safety practices.

Responsibilities
Participate in hazard hunts/gemba walks and determine trend data
Participate in incident investigations and create risk reduction solutions with a multidisciplinary team
Assist in the creation of lockout procedures with a multidisciplinary team
Work with the onsite team to learn common manufacturing hazards and how to mitigate them
Learn how to perform a root cause analysis to reduce risk
Use software to create lockout procedures with the help of a multidisciplinary team
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, and/or similar field
Duration: Summer 2026. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available
Working Arrangements: On-site based at our manufacturing facility in Toledo, OH
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future
