Lead Sleep Tech ( RPSGT or RRT )
Tower Health is a regional healthcare system serving communities across Pennsylvania, and they are seeking a Lead Sleep Tech to support the Sleep Center for Children. The primary responsibility is to score and generate preliminary reports on sleep studies, assist in day-to-day operations, and oversee QA activities of the night technician.

Responsibilities
Provide support to the Sleep Center for Children in conjunction with the Medical Director and with the Department Director
Score and generate preliminary report on all the sleep studies performed at the sleep lab according to the AASM scoring guidelines
Set up daytime Sleep studies and assist the Sleep Clinic as needed
Help and backup the Department Director to fulfill the day-to-day operations and activities of the Sleep Clinic/Center and EEG department
Make recommendation and submit equipment and supplies request to the Department Director
Oversee QA activities of the night technician and their performance
Back up for the Lead EEG Tech as needed
Other duties assigned by the Department Director
Report directly to the Department Director and to the Medical Director
Completion of 10 SLEEP/EEG related CEU's within 1 year of hire and every year after is required
Qualification
Required
Current Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) OR American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists (ABRET) credential (R.EEG.T.) OR American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) credential OR National Board of Respiratory Care (RRT-SDS)
BLS Certification
Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role
Post High School Diploma Program
