CT Technologist, Full Time, 2nd Shift
Huntsville Hospital is committed to delivering quality healthcare services, and they are seeking a CT Technologist to perform imaging procedures under the direction of the Radiology Director and Radiologist. The role requires independent judgment and technical proficiency in operating CT/X-Ray equipment while ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.

Responsibilities
Demonstrates through behavior Decatur Morgan Hospital’s mission, vision and values
Performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail
Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis
Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required
Operates CT / X-Ray Equipment to make quality Images / radiographs of designated body parts, utilizing the lowest possible radiation dose
Responsibilities include knowledge of all CT/Radiology procedures, proper patient positioning, exposures, Utilization of PACS, implementation of patient charges, and assists physicians as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Imaging Program
ARRT in Radiology (CT preferred)
ARRT(R) Required
BLS must be obtained during orientation period
Requires proficiency at a technical level not requiring constant direct supervision in CT
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing task frequently and quickly
Must be able to work in a team environment
Must be able to use a computer terminal, fax machine, and copy machine
Preferred
ARRT(CT) preferred
Minimum of one-year clinical experience in direct patient care setting preferred
