Performs ultrasound procedures for all ages by utilizing imaging modalities in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. Subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital

Qualification

EchocardiographyBLS certificationCPR CertifiedAllied Health degreePatient care experience

Required

High School graduate or equivalent
Qualified second year student from an allied Health Echocardiography program
Echo Registry eligible per ICAEL standards
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
CPR Certified Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire date
Echo registered in RDCS or RCS within six (6) months of hire date

Preferred

Allied Health degree in Cardiac Ultrasound experience performing Echocardiagraphy studies
Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience performing Echocardiography studies
