The Energy Engineering Intern position offers an opportunity for engineering or data analysis students to engage in real-world applications within the energy industry, including data analysis, energy savings calculations, and project implementation support.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the engineers of the Energy Efficiency team
Perform data analysis and organization
Conduct market research
Support energy savings calculations and methodology development
Assist in engineering project implementation
Develop a midstream product roadmap for agricultural, industrial, and building envelope domain areas
Create measure tables for existing and potential clients for industrial, agricultural, and building envelope measures
Develop savings calculation spreadsheets for industrial and agricultural measures
Cross-collaborate with the Business Strategy Team on emerging technologies and projects relevant to energy efficiency measures
Collaborate with the P&R department to learn about potential codes and standards impacting energy efficiency measures

Required

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Currently enrolled in or previously completed an engineering or technical program
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
Experience gathering, tracking, and sorting data
Currently enrolled full- or part-time in an undergraduate program as a second to fourth-year student or enrolled in a graduate program
A US Citizen or permanent resident
Available to meet your weekly hours requirement between May and August 2026
