Responsibilities
Plan, develop, coordinate, and help direct work for multi-project clients, and multiple clients
Help support strategic initiatives for continued work with key clients and business sectors
Support the work of others and maintain quality control on projects and on administrative tasks
Work independently to perform project tasks, design, calculations, and reporting to meet the project specific requirements
Be a point of contact for clients and maintain a positive relationship with clients
Manage multiple smaller company priorities and projects
Work at landfills, contaminated sites, and/or other sites where heavy equipment, contamination, or other health hazards may exist. Be able to travel for short duration projects if needed
Assist with proposals, including the development of technical plans, schedules, and cost estimates, and preparation with staff and with the client
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to think and act critically and strategically
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or above in engineering or related environmental field
Professional Engineer license or able to acquire within one year of hire
Experience - 6 to 10 years minimum in a related field
Regulatory experience required, general Florida, South U.S.A. experience a plus
Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
Solid organization and time management skills
Self-disciplined/motivated individual who also works well in a team environment
Proficiency with computer usage for document preparation including Word and Excel
Working knowledge of computer-aided design software; Civil 3D preferred
Preferred
Solid Waste permitting experience is preferred
Established client relationships are a plus
Project management experience a plus, including budgets and invoicing
Solid waste management
