Start in 2026 SpringNelnet is a student loan servicer and technology company that is seeking an intern to join their Financial Services investments team. The intern will assist with investment analysis, risk assessment, and performance tracking across various specialty finance asset classes.

Responsibilities
Provide investment analysis assistance across various specialty finance asset classes including consumer unsecured, auto, small business, home improvement and other loan types
Collaborate internally with employees and departments to accomplish work projects
Maintain and update comparable deal tracker
Complete special projects as assigned by management
Manage multiple conflicting priorities & consistently meet deadlines
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
Relevant coursework in finance, accounting and business
Attention to detail
PC skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
Good oral and written communication
Ability to follow directions. Willingness to learn new processes
Knowledge of accounting practice and procedures
Energetic and enthusiastic attitude
Good work ethic and habits
Preferred
Prior internship in finance or accounting preferred
